This RFQ document has been developed specifically to help schools make their procurement processes easier to conduct when sourcing goods and services up to the value threshold of €50,000.
The new RFQ template, which should be completed in conjunction with reading the accompanying User Guide, has easy-to-use features such as text boxes which prompt the user on the correct information to enter; “auto-fill” in a number of fields, and drop-down choices to pick from.
Underpinning the RFQ is the standards Terms and Conditions of contract, which must accompany each RFQ which issues. Within these Ts & Cs, please note that only Clause 23 is editable to reflect circumstances where perhaps additional non-standard conditions need to be included (examples provided).
The template also provides a response format for suppliers/service providers to complete and return their quotations/proposals.
